Overview

The client is a lovely 19-year-old man with a brain injury, visual impairment and a peg. He lives in his gorgeous family home with his dad and sister and attends a special needs college during the week.

He uses a wheelchair to move around due to his visual impairment but can transfer independently. His speech is slightly unclear due to his brain injury, but he communicates verbally.

He enjoys gaming, dj-ing, and the odd trip to the pub! His support is to assist him out in the community. He has a mobility car that would be used to take him out and about and to transport him to college. The client also has a full multi-disciplinary team in place to support him and the CarePal with anything they need.

Fridays or Saturdays - 4-5 hours in the evening

Tuesdays - 4-5 hours in the evening

Total - 8-10 hours per week
